Senior Manager, Communications & Operations
Ashley Ann Wolfe keeps Slover Linett running smoothly and manages the firm’s communication with colleagues and clients around the arts and culture field. From writing press, website, blog, and social-media content to working with outside collaborators, facilitating team workshops, and participating in research fieldwork for clients such as the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum and Goodman Theatre, Ashley makes a dizzying variety of contributions at Slover Linett. Most recently, she’s proud to helm Slover Linett’s media strategy behind the Culture + Community in a Time of Crisis national study, and her writing has been published in Curator: The Museum Journal. She serves on the firm’s equity, diversity, access, and inclusion steering committee and spearheads our volunteer work in the Chicago community. She joined the team in 2017.
A theater artist and arts manager, Ashley is an original ensemble member of The New Colony, a Chicago theater company devoted to new play development founded in 2008 and has served as its company manager and executive producer. She is passionate about using theater as a tool for social advocacy, expanding access to the arts, and empowering women in the theater industry, and she mentors emerging artists through The New Colony’s education programs. Before joining Slover Linett, Ashley worked as the assistant theater manager and tour manager at Chicago Shakespeare Theater, and as delegate coordinator at the Edinburgh International Film Festival in Scotland. She earned her BA in acting and directing at the College of Charleston in South Carolina. She loves live performance, is passionate about animals (especially her two felines, both named after notable “Cats”), natural history, and political science. Ashley lives in Chicago with her partner and cat co-parent, Pete.
