Time flies when you’re busy, and this month we almost worked right through a happy milestone: our 15th year conducting research studies for educational institutions. Back in September, 1997, when Cheryl Slover-Linett founded the firm, we launched a student survey for the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. We must have done a fair job of it, since we’re still working with the good people at Chicago Booth to this day.
We have a lot to celebrate as we mark this occasion. Wonderful clients from coast to coast, including some of the world’s most renowned universities. A growing collaboration with the Huron Consulting Group to serve colleges and universities in the US and overseas (our first international projects). An expanding team in Chicago, including our new colleague Jenny Puchtel. And this winter, a new office in Boston.
What will our 16th year in higher ed bring? New research methods like ethnography and alumni panels. New target populations, including parents and other influencers. And a growing portfolio of assessment studies to help institutions develop outcomes metrics and inform accountability discussions.
Exciting times, all because of colleagues like you. Please stay in touch.
