“These new positions codify what Sarah and Chloe have been doing as members of the firm’s leadership team for several years,” says Slover Linett’s chairman, Peter Linett. “Sarah’s presence and vision, both within our organization and around the culture and informal-learning community, have been such a force for progress, and as president she’ll help lead us into a new era of learning and growth.”
About Chittick Patton, Linett adds, “No one has been more responsible than Chloe for the quality of our work and the development of our amazing team in Chicago. In her new role she’ll make sure great things continue to happen across our practice.”
Both Lee and Chittick Patton have been with Slover Linett since 2005; Lee joined first as a consulting researcher during her doctoral studies at the University of Chicago’s Harris School of Public Policy, and Chittick Patton was the firm’s first full-time employee (after the founders). Both later became senior associates and, in 2011, vice presidents.
Cheryl Slover-Linett, who had been president of the firm since its founding in 1997, will take on a reduced role in order to pursue her other interests
in the nonprofit sector. “I’m excited about making room for the next generation,” she says. “It’s been absolutely wonderful to see our research help cultural organizations make progress and to see them embrace the whole idea of research and collaboration with their audiences and communities. I can’t wait to see where Sarah and Chloe, working with Peter, will go with what we started.”
